Christian Linsey releases “New English” LP
While his first record (“After All”) was a response to great loss, “New English” feels like a rebirth and embracing of self. Linsey is older now, learned to trust himself and his friends, and is less afraid to care deeply about making art. Linsey invited in bigger group of musicians – trusted collaborators Joe Rogers, Scott Porter, Matt Stamm, Pat Malone, Billy Ziff, along with some new voices: J57 (beats), Elenor Norton (cello), and Tory Giardina (vocals), whose contributions that create a warm universe of sounds, textures, and characters.
